About The Fairview-Rockwood-Wilkes Historical Society

In 1987, under the inspiration and leadership of Ruth Dulin of Fairview, a group of interested people from Fairview and the surrounding area met to discuss the forming of a local historical society. It was subsequently decided to broaden the base of interest that resulted in the formation of the Fairview-Rockwood-Wilkes Historical Society. This area covers approximately ten square miles in East Multnomah county located between Gresham, Oregon and the Columbia River.
